School has been officially canceled for Habersham County Schools on Tuesday, January 11, 2011. This is due to the excessive amounts of snowfall present and expeceted throughout the county, and the icy conditions expected later today. The BOE office of Habersham County released this statement about canceling school:
Habersham County Schools and Offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 11, due to icy and treacherous road conditions. All athletic practices/events and other extra-curricular events are also cancelled on Tuesday. The Board of Education meeting scheduled this evening will be postponed until Monday, January 17. Please be safe!
