School and Sporting Events

Due to the inclement weather conditions the local area is now being pounded with all Schools for Habersham County are CLOSED for Monday, January 10, 2011. This also includes all sporting events and other extra-curricular activities previously scheduled. This does include the Ninth Grade Academy's FCA Events scheduled for Monday Night. The statement released by the school system included:

Due to the impending winter storm and potential ice and snow, we are closing schools and offices of Habersham County School System on Monday, January 10. Also, all athletic practices/events and other extra-curricular events are canceled for Monday.
